Library Events at JCPL


  • Whiteland Farmers Market: 5:30-8pm. Whiteland Town Hall 549 Main St. Whiteland, IN. Shop local vendors!


  • Free Friday Story Time: 10:30am. Courthouse lawn. 5 E Jefferson St. Franklin, IN. with Toodleydoo Toys.


  • Arts at the AMP presents: Kids Zumba: 9-10am. Youngs Creek Park Franklin, IN



  • Adult Swim at Freedom Springs: 8:15-10:45. Music by Blue River Band. Tickets Required. Admission Only: $20, Admission + 2 Drinks: $32, Admission + 3 Drinks: $38.

Saturday, June 17

  • Franklin Farmers Market: 8am -12pm. DriveHubler.com Amphitheater at Youngs Creek Park Franklin, IN.


  • Greenwood Farmers Market: 8am - 12pm. 525 N Madison Ave, Greenwood IN 46142


  • Columbus Farmers Market: 9-12:30pm. Columbus City Hall, Columbus, IN


  • Greenwood Summer Concert: 7pm. Greenwood Amphitheater in Craig Park behind Greenwood Community Center ft. The Big 80’s. Bring your blankets, chairs, and kids! Fun for all ages.


  • Open Barn Event: 12-3pm Jenkins Forever Farm. 8818 S Pr 435 W. Edinburgh, IN Come out to the sanctuary and meet the residents, play yard Games, crafts, food by The Tasty Plate, Kids concert by the talented Mr. Daniel. FREE (Tickets here)


  • Magic Bus on the lawn Mallow Run Winery: Magic Bus on the lawn 6-9pm. The Wilsons on the patio 12-3pm. FREE ADMISSION. Food trucks will be there, but you can bring a picnic as well! (Non Mallow Run alcohol is prohibited.)


  • Community Day: 11-3pm. 9345 Brookville Rd, Indianapolis, IN. Free food, carnival, horseback rides, and inflatables.

Library Events at JCPL

Sunday, June 18

  • Sunday on the Patio: Open 12-6pm Music 2-5pm by Davis & Devitt. Mallow Run Winery. Bring your chairs and blankets to hang out, or sit at outdoor tables to listen to afternoon tunes. Free admission.


  • Daddy Daughter Date: 12-5pm. Dollies Farm: Dads bring the picnic - Dollie’s takes care of the rest. Dollie’s will set up a special private spot for dad and daughter. There will be lavender tea or lemonade served along with cookies. Event Package includes a walk around the farm to pick a delicately simple bouquet or help from Dollie’s designer to turn the flowers into a flower crown. Call 317-797-7749 to reserve your time and spot! Cost is $25 for daddy and daughter. Add another for $13.
