  • Preschool Storytime: 10:00am - 11:00am, Franklin Branch  

  •  Tots on the Turf: 9-11am. $5 per child for the hour. Greenwood Fieldhouse. Greenwood, IN 

  • Christmas Acres - Opening night:  6-10pm.  The public is invited to come to the property and drive up the circle to see the lights. There is no cost, but at the end of their front sidewalk, they are collecting canned goods for the local food pantry. 6211 N. 500 East Franklin, IN

  • Indiana Pacers vs. Portland Trailblazers: 7pm. Tickets required. Gainbridge Fieldhouse Indianapolis, IN

Happy Thanksgiving! 

  • Turkey Burn Thanksgiving Run/Walk: 9am start time. Come to Craig Park for the Turkey Burn 5K run/walk and kids run! Register here. Craig Park Greenwood, IN

  • Thanksgiving Banquet: 11am-2pm.  Free  Thanksgiving meals to Johnson County residents. Scott Hall at the Johnson County Fairgrounds.

  • “Fore” K Birdie Dash: 9am-12pm. Work off the Thanksgiving fest while making a difference. Walk or run a 4K around the golf course. Registration required. The Haven at Hickory Stick, 4422 Thompson Blvd.Greenwood, IN

  • Indiana Pacers vs. Detroit Pistons: 8pm. Tickets required.  Gainbridge Fieldhouse Indianapolis, IN 

  • Kelsay Farms Holiday Stroll - Opening Night: 5:30-9pm. Stroll through a magical holiday experience, whoville hunt, and see Santa. Tickets required. Use code “Merry24” for $2 off opening weekend. (Purchase by 11/24) Kelsay Farms Whiteland, IN

  • Shop Small Business Saturday: starts 10am. . Start your shopping day at the chamber office with free coffee and donuts, then head out and shop. The first 100 people in line will receive Chamber Cash, which can be spent like cash at participating stores. Downtown Franklin, IN

  • Farm Toy Show: 8am-3pm. Find farm toys at this free show. Food served all day. Johnson County Fairgrounds, 250 Fairground St. Franklin, IN

  • Greenwood Lighted Trail - Opening Day: 5:30-11pm. This is free, and it can be accessed via the community center parking lot. It is illuminated from dusk to dawn. Greenwood Amphitheater Park
