  • Johnson County Library Events

  •  Whiteland Farmers Market: 5:30-7:30pm. Find fruits, vegetables and local, unique products. Johnson County Public Library – Clark Pleasant Branch, 350 Clearwater Blvd. Whiteland, IN

  • Peoga Parade: 12:30pm start time. At Small Town Market and features a fun patriotic lineup of marching bands, floats and more. Small Town Market, 8639 S. 250 West Trafalgar, IN

  • $1 movies at Regal Cinemas: 11am.  Showing: Spiderman into The Spiderverse & Paw Patrol: The Movie Tickets required. Check participating locations here.


Wednesday, July 3      

  •  Johnson County Library Events:

    • Preschool Storytime: 10:00am - 11:00am, Franklin Branch

    • Water Fun in the Sun: 2:00pm - 3:00pm, Clark Pleasant Branch Registration required. 

    • Mindfulness Moment: 4:30pm - 5:30pm, White River Branch Registration required. 

    • Paws to Read: 6:00pm - 7:00pm, Trafalgar Branch Sign up for a 15-minute session at the Reference Desk or by calling 317-878-9560

  • Tots on the Turf: 9-11am. $5 per child for the hour. Greenwood Fieldhouse. Greenwood, IN 

  • Bargersville Farmers Market: 5-7pm. Town Hall, 24 N. Main St. Bargersville, IN

  • $1 movies at Regal Cinemas: 11am-1pm. Showing: Spiderman into The Spiderverse & Paw Patrol: The Movie . Tickets required. Check participating locations here. 

  • Franklin Firecracker Festival: 5:30-11pm. Enjoy food vendors, entertainment, fireworks and more. The festival kicks off with food trucks and a beer garden starting at 5:30 p.m. The opening concert is from 5:30 to 6:30 p.m., the main act (Blue River Band) is from 7 to 10 p.m. and fireworks begin at 10:10 p.m.

  • All American Day in the Park: 5:30-10:30pm. Food, Music, and Fun starting at 5:30pm. Fireworks start at 10pm. Sarah T. Bolton Park -  Beech Grove, IN 


Thursday, July 4      

  • Edinburgh Farmers Market: 4-7pm. 201 W. Main St. Edinburgh, IN

  • Trafalgar Farmers Market: 4:30-7pm. 108 N. State Road 135 Trafalgar, IN

  • Free Family Swim: 6-8pm. Free admission to Franklin aquatic center. 396 Branigin Blvd. Franklin, IN

  • Indy Indians vs. Louisville Bats: 6:35pm. Victory Field, Indianapolis, IN. July 4th Celebration. Fireworks after the game. Tickets required. 

  • Edinburgh Firecracker Festival: 5-10:30pm. Check out a car cruise-in from 6 to 7 p.m., bounce houses and food trucks from 5 to 9 p.m., music and entertainment. Fireworks at the water tower at 10:10pm. Downtown Edinburgh, 100 E. Main Cross St. Edinburgh, IN

  • Martinsville Fireworks: Fireworks at 10pm. Jimmy Nash City Park Martinsville, IN

  • Downtown Indy Fireworks: 10pm. Indianapolis, IN  

  • City of Lawrence 4th Fest: 10am-10:40pm. Parade, carshow, fish fry, and fireworks at 10pm. Lawrence Community Park 


Friday, July 5th        

  • Free Friday Storytime: 11am. Enjoy a free storytime and dot art with Toodleydoo Toys in downtown Franklin. Franklin Courthouse Lawn. 

  • Live Music at Smocktown: 8pm-10pm. (21+) 223 W Main St. Greenwood, IN 

  • First Friday in Franklin - Shop the Blocks: 5-8pm. More than 25 stores and restaurants in downtown Franklin will be open late for this fun shopping and dining event. There will be live music at three different spots downtown, artists, and other fun. Downtown Franklin, IN 

  • Indy Indians vs. Louisville Bats: 7:05pm. Victory Field, Indianapolis, IN. Fireworks after the game. Tickets required.
