Monday, March 11


Johnson County Library Events: 

  • Baby Storytime: 10:00am - 10:30am, White River Branch

  • Teen STEAM:  4:00pm - 5:00pm, Clark Pleasant Branch Registration required

  • Family STEAM Night: 4:00pm - 5:00pm, White River Branch    

  • Tales for Tails: 6:00pm - 8:00pm, White River Branch     Sign up for a 15-minute session at the children's reference desk or call 317-885-1330.

  • Family Storytime: 6:00pm - 6:30pm, Franklin Branch 


  • Kids at Mashcraft: 6:30-7:30pm. A group of teachers and parents will provide fun crafts, snacks and learning so you can hang out and snack and sip. Mashcraft Greenwood, IN 


  • Escape the Eclipse: 3-4pm. Legend has it that a solar eclipse happens when the sun and moon are fighting. To ensure the world is not encased in darkness forever, kids must work together to uncover clues while learning about solar eclipses during this escape room program. Will you be able to escape the eclipse? Ages 6 and up. West Indianapolis Library Branch

Tuesday, March 12     


Johnson County Library Events 


  • Tot Time: 10am-12pm. Tot Time is a great way for young ones to let out energy and interact with other children. This activity does not have an instructor but has several fun and engaging equipment like tumbling mats, soft climbing stairs, and much more! Krannert Park Indianapolis, IN 


  • Museum My Way: 4pm-7pm. This is an opportunity for visitors with disabilities and/or sensory sensitivities to experience the museum in a new way. Families and groups of all abilities are welcome to play and learn together! Indianapolis Children's Museum. Registration required. 


Wednesday, March 13

  • Tots on the Turf:  9-10am. and 10-11am.  $5 per child for the hour. Greenwood Fieldhouse. Greenwood, IN 


  • Sun King Brewery Trivia: 7-9pm. All ages welcome to play. $5 Pints of Year-Round Beers & Various Sun King Prizes are awarded to winners each week! Sun King Brewery Downtown Indianapolis, IN. 


  • Indianapolis Pacers vs. Chicago Bulls: 7:30pm. Gainbridge Fieldhouse Indianapolis. IN. Tickets required. 


Thursday, March 14 


Johnson County Library Events:



  • Toddler Jumperoo Time: 10am-12pm. A special time for you to jump around with your kiddos under 5 at Urban Air. Tickets are required. Urban Air, Franklin, IN. 


  • Greening of the Canal: 5-6pm. Start to celebrate St. Patrick’s day early!  Free event with live entertainment. Food trucks – on Ohio Street between Senate and West Street. Ohio Street Canal Basin Indianapolis, IN.


  • Disney Prince the Concert: 7pm.  Be part of our world at Disney Princess – The Concert! Program will last approximately 1 hour and 45 minutes, including one 20-minute intermission. (Broadway performers will perform as themselves and not in costume). Tickets required. Clowes Memorial Hall Indianapolis, IN. 


Friday, March 15   


Johnson County Library Events:


  • Indy’s St. Patricks Day Tent and Block Party: 9:30am-3pm. Food trucks, activities, and a large heated tent with a beer garden and live entertainment are just some of the things you’ll find to do! n North Street, between Meridian and Pennsylvania Street. Indianapolis, IN 


  • Language Music N’ our Peeps: 9:30-10:30am. Language Music N’ Our Peeps (LMNOP) is an interactive and engaging program designed to guide parents and young children through learning basic sign language and other forms of communication while using music and language-based activities. Recommended for ages pre-natal to 36 months. Registration required. GIGI’s Playhouse Indianapolis, IN

  • 42nd Annual Indianapolis St. Patrick’s Day Parade: 11am-1:30pm. The parade starts at North and Pennsylvania Streets, heads south to Ohio Street, and then back North on Meridian Street. Get downtown early to find your spot!
